Spirited Fourth of July celebration brings community together

The summer season officially kicked off with the annual Fourth of July Celebration in New Milford. The event, organized by the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce, featured festivities presented by several organizations. The Woman’s Club of Greater New Milford served cupcakes as part of a giant American flag cake, the Garden Club of New Milford provided free popcorn and drinks, and the band Songhorse performed at the bandstand. The evening’s activities were topped off with a fireworks display.
