Annual event offers hope and healing

The fourth annual Overdose Awareness 5K Run & Recovery Festival, hosted by the Brian Cody’s Brothers and Sisters Foundation, was held Aug. 25 on the New Milford Green. The goal of the event is to offer hope and healing to those impacted by substance abuse disorder.


Offerings included a 5K, kids' activities, art displays, vendor booths, guest speakers, live music, recovery advisory stations led by subject matter experts, local recovery provider booths, and Narcan training.
