Spirit of Ireland comes to New Milford

The Litchfield County Irish American Club held its second annual Irish Fest Sept. 7-8 on the Village Green in New Milford. The event featured authentic music, dancing games, food, and cultural offerings.

Popiel and Fitzgerald are members of the local branch of the nonprofit Andy McGann Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éirean, which is committed to the promotion of Irish music, song and dance throughout Ireland and across the world.
