Annual two-weekend event celebrates the holiday season

The Merwinsville Hotel Restoration in Gaylordsville hosted its annual Christmas Shoppe for two weekends, beginning right after Thanksgiving. The event, held in the historic hotel on Brown's Forge Road, featured the sale of artwork, holiday crafts, jewelry, ornaments and more. In addition, the hotel was transformed into a magical space complete with nutcrackers, World's Fair miniatures, train displays, Santa Claus collections, and more.
