Gentle Mindfulness Yoga
Let Dawn guide you through gentle yoga moves that are perfect for all levels. Learn breathing and relaxation techniques to take off the mat and out into the real world. Enjoy some stretching and leave class feeling calm and rejuvenated!
Dawn will then lead you through a gentle, slow flow yoga planned carefully to help the body and mind release tension. Modifications are offered during all classes so that new students as well as seasoned yogis or yoginis can benefit from this nurturing practice.
Breathing techniques designed to alleviate stress both on and off the mat (in the real world, where let's face it most stress happens) will be taught and practiced.
Classes will incorporate the principles of mediation and mindfulness. The goal of this class is that you feel relaxed, rejuvenated and centered when you leave class. Affectionately known as SOOP, Seat Of Our Pants has ascended to the forefront of the Connecticut roots music scene with award winning, heartfelt, and clever songs that put a smile on your face, a tear in your eye, and get you thinking about the world around you. From sellout shows at The Buttonwood Tree, to the grand stage at Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den, to Podunk Bluegrass Festival, and many of the premiere listening rooms around the state, SOOP never disappoints their audiences. The unique mix of instruments, and impeccable intricate harmonies, distinguish Connecticut’s one-of-a-kind SOOP. Their cornucopia of folk instruments and rock-infused songwriting are a contagiously fun experience.

I will be working directly with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) in preparation for a walk around the Town Green for those affected by suicide, and those who support them, to raise awareness and much-needed funds, strongly sending the message that suicide can be prevented, and that no one is alone. I am hopeful the Town will grant me permission SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2025 to have access to the Town Green in an effort to conduct our Out of the Darkness Community Walk to convey awareness, save lives and bring hope.
