Let Dawn guide you through gentle yoga moves that are perfect for all levels. Learn breathing and relaxation techniques to take off the mat and out into the real world. Enjoy some stretching and leave class feeling calm and rejuvenated!

Dawn will then lead you through a gentle, slow flow yoga planned carefully to help the body and mind release tension. Modifications are offered during all classes so that new students as well as seasoned yogis or yoginis can benefit from this nurturing practice.

Breathing techniques designed to alleviate stress both on and off the mat (in the real world, where let's face it most stress happens) will be taught and practiced.

Classes will incorporate the principles of mediation and mindfulness. The goal of this class is that you feel relaxed, rejuvenated and centered when you leave class. Additionally these skills can often help you to manage situational stress/anxiety/tension as it occurs once you step off your mat and head back into the real world.

Adult Bible Study Group:

Led by Pastor Scott Cheney

Gospel Groundwork is a 5-week course that takes you through the 5 basics of Christianity. Through this course, you will be paired with a Gospel Groundwork Coach who will be with you every step of the way to help explain some of the course material as well as answer any questions you may have. Gospel Groundwork is a perfect "next step" after you make the decision to follow Christ, but is also a good course for those who may have been saved for a while, but want to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and have a firmer understanding of what it means to follow Him.

The Chase Brings High-Energy Rock and A New Album to the JCC in Sherman on April 5

SHERMAN, CT – Get ready for an unforgettable night of live music as The Chase, Fairfield County’s premier five-piece cover band, takes the stage at the JCC in Sherman on Saturday, April 5, at 7 PM.

Known for their unique take on rock, folk, and soft rock classics, The Chase will be delivering a dynamic mix of timeless covers and fresh original music from their newly released debut album. Adding to the excitement, the band will also be performing live debut renditions of original songs from their first album “Range” — music that stays true to the spirit of the legends that inspire them while showcasing their own creative voice. With a lineup of experienced musicians and powerful vocal harmonies, The Chase is celebrated for their meticulous attention to detail and their ability to bring high-energy performances to every show. Audiences can expect to hear beloved yet rarely performed classics from Simon & Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Linda Ronstadt, Dire Straits, The Beatles, Supertramp, Collective Soul, and more.

Meet The Chase:

● Ryan Weber (vocals, guitar, bass) – Connecticut native and seasoned singer-songwriter with a knack for blending rock and pop influences.

● Rob Stagno (electric & acoustic guitar, mandolin, vocals) – A versatile musician with over 20 years of experience spanning multiple styles, from gypsy jazz to intricate acoustic arrangements. His musicality and technical skill bring a unique depth to The Chase’s sound.

● Kevin Bailie (piano, keyboards, vocals) – A veteran cover band performer and classic rock aficionado with a love for Billy Joel.

● Susan Siegel (vocals) – A powerhouse singer with a rich history in musical theatre, symphony performances, and cabaret shows.

● Andrew Neil (drums) – A dynamic drummer with over two decades of experience across

multiple genres, bringing energy and precision to every performance.

This special performance at the JCC in Sherman is a must-see event for local music lovers. Whether you're a fan of classic hits or eager to experience brand-new original songs live for the first time, The Chase promises a night of exceptional musicianship, heartfelt performances, and plenty of surprises.

For this months Sunday Speaker Series we welcome back Producer Fred Zollo to show and speak on his film, Ghosts of Mississippi.

The Film: Ghosts of Mississippi

In this film based on actual events, black activist Medgar Evers (James Pickens Jr.) is murdered in 1963, and much of the evidence points toward white supremacist Byron De La Beckwith (James Woods). However, after two trials, De La Beckwith is acquitted twice by a jury of whites. Now, decades later in 1989, Evers' widow, Myrlie (Whoopi Goldberg), thinks she has evidence to finally convict him. But no lawyer will touch the case except the young and brash Bobby DeLaughter (Alec Baldwin).

The Producer/Speaker: Frederick Zollo

Frederick Zollo is an award winning American film and theatre producer. Zollo is an 18 time Tony nominee, winning the award six times. Frederick Zollo is best known for his film work on Best Picture Oscar Nominees Mississippi Burning (1988), and Quiz Show (1994).
